We enjoyed being given the opportunity to landscape this fun mid-century modern Palm Beach home designed by Shane Denman Architects. The owners of this home are a young family who wanted a landscape solution which complemented the vibrant retro character of their home.
We connected the entry and various entertaining spaces, including back patio and pool area, with the use of concrete steppers which were formed in situ in a staggered geometric design inline with the 1960s vibe. A raised vegetable garden was installed as well as a “kids corner” complete with a blackboard and raised flower and herb garden.
A subtropical coastal plant palette was used with Empire Zoysia lawns. This lawn is fantastic as it has a relatively fine soft leaf but is very hardy.
